Your Adventure First Aid Kit

Refresh your body and fight the bites  - a couple of blends you will find indispensable in your Adventure First Aid Kit.

“Buzz Off” Insect Repellent

50mls Purified Water
15 drops Lavender
10 drops Citronella
8 drops Australian Blue Cypress
8 drops Cedarwood
6 drops Tea Tree
3 drops Basil

50ml bottle with spritz nozzle

Measure required amount of Purified Water into a cylinder

Sandwich the Purified Water and Essential Oils: Begin by adding half the Purified Water to the bottle, then some drops of Essential Oil, then a little Purified Water, Essential Oil until all Essential Oil and Purified Water has been measured into the bottle.

Refresh Me Body Oil

After a day of adventure use me after a shower.
50mls Almond  Oil
50mls Grapeseed Oil
30 drops Pink Grapefruit
15 drops Australian Lavender
5 drops Ylang Ylang

Use 100ml bottle with dripolator or pump neck.

Measure required amount of Carrier Oils in to a measuring cylinder/beaker.
Sandwich the Carrier Oil and Essential Oils in the bottle: Begin by adding half the Carrier Oil to the bottle, then add the drops of Essential Oil, then add the rest of the  Carrier Oil to the bottle. Shake and attach label.

    Jo, these oil blends sound delicious! I am definitely going to try the insect repellant - going out my back door anytime after 4pm is a huge adventure for me in avoiding things that bite. How often do you need to spray yourself to keep it working?

    Pink grapefruit is one of my favourite scents, so I’ll also definitely be trying the Refresh Me body oil as the weather heats up here.
